Our portfolio includes some beautifully designed family homes and living spaces, and each project has been tailored to the residents needs and the way they live in the home.

Our process is very flexible and we like clients to be able to pick and choose from our services. That way they get exactly what they need without constraints.

Initial Consultation

Lets get together! Plot Design aren’t keen on stuffy meetings, we’ll meet you anywhere from your local pub or cafe to a park for a walk. The coffee and drinks are on us by the way. We can catch up to discuss your project, your aspirations for the space and any inspiration you have. After we have gleaned all the information we need, we’ll send you a (slightly more formal quote) and if you’re happy we take it from there.

Site Survey

After an initial meeting to write the project brief, we will visit your space for a site survey, take key measurements, discuss your functional needs and budget for your interior design project and from this will begin to visualise the elements that will bring it to life.

Visual Concept

If you have a collection of images that inspire you, or even just an idea in your mind, then we want to know it.  We draw our inspiration from you. It is very important to us that projects are collaborative and that clients get the interiors they want. Simple as that. We collate all your ideas, adding our own, or taking you in a direction you hadn’t expected, to give the design direction of the project. You are then presented with a digital document, this is the Visual Concept for your project.

Layouts

Once the site survey is complete and the concept is created we then make the 2d AutoCAD layouts. We create a digital drawing pack that you can share with your builder, electrician or plumber. Or all three! These drawings will have dimensioned furniture layouts, dimensioned lighting and sockets, radiators and wall and floor finishes. They really take the guess work out of the build as it is all documented beforehand.

Sourcing & Procurement

Sourcing and procurement is an additional service we provide. We have access to trade accounts and create organised priced furniture lists that we send to clients as a digital copy. This can be an add on to our other services. We provide this service for the clients using our full interior service and for clients who have empty rental homes and wish to furnish them for their tenants.

At Plot Design, we like the process to be as bespoke as possible. If the client simply wants a consultation service then we are happy to help. We can be as involved as you need us to be. Some clients only want furniture layouts, without design input, and that’s fine by us too.

We can also liaise with builders and architects to help with project management and then finally style and stage the finished space.
